After we got our diplomas, the whole Hide The Corpse team knew we had something great. We pitched the game to a few studios and landed on Realcast to help us make this dream game come true.
In this reimagining of the student game, play as the Master Body-Hider and make sure that the police won't see Tom's body lying on the ground when the break down the door!

I redesigned the whole 3Cs, putting in all the knowledge I accumulated on the first version of the game. Putting it all onto paper and writing the documentation was a huge part of my work.
Many hours were spent doing back-and-forth with the game's level designer, to find hiding place concepts. We wanted them to be creative, yet intuitive which proved to be a real challenge.
One of my task was to rework the UI from the student game.
I knew I wanted to iterate on the 3D-Diagetic interface type, but I also wanted it to be easier to use and more intuitive.
In coordination with the other game designer and 3D artist, we tweaked the corpse joints & weights to make him more fun to move but still challenging enough to be satisfying.
I took on some programming tasks when time was of the essence.
I prototyped a few gameplay mechanics, helped with the detection system and developped a movement controls scheme.
At some point I started iterating on some of the narration and dialogues, as well as the voice acting by doing test recordings.
Early-on, I also helped with some shader coding in HLSL.
